Terms of Service

Version 0.1-draft · Effective 1 July 2026

Draft — pending legal review. This document is a working draft prepared to be protective of the provider. It has not yet been reviewed or finalised by a qualified lawyer and must be before public launch. Nothing here is legal advice, and it does not override any right or protection that applies to you by law.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the HomePhysioUnited website and enquiry service (the “Service”), operated by HomePhysioUnited (Placeholder) Pte Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing the Service or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Nature of the Service

The Service provides general information about home physiotherapy and lets you submit an enquiry (a request to be contacted). It is not a booking, scheduling, diagnosis, or payment platform, and it does not provide medical treatment. Submitting an enquiry does not create a clinician–patient relationship, guarantee an appointment, or guarantee that services are available in your area.

2. No medical advice

Content on the Service is general information only and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Please read our Medical Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.

3. Eligibility and your responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years old (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information in any enquiry, and you are responsible for the information you submit. You must not use the Service on behalf of another person without their authority.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Please see our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms and sets out prohibited activities (including unauthorised access, scraping, interference, and submitting false information).

5. Enquiries, availability, and pricing

Any prices shown are indicative and may change. Availability of physiotherapists, service areas, and any funding or subsidy information are provided in good faith and may change without notice. Nothing on the Service is a binding offer; a treatment arrangement is formed only after a separate assessment and agreement with a physiotherapist.

6. Intellectual property

The Service and its content, branding, text, graphics, and design are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, or exploit any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

7. Third-party links and content

The Service may link to third-party websites or resources (for example, cited sources or a Google Business Profile). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, and links do not imply endorsement. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

8. Assumption of risk (information and exercises)

Any general exercises, techniques, or self-care information described on the Service are for educational purposes only and are not tailored to you. You should not begin, change, or stop any exercise or treatment based on the Service without first consulting a qualified professional. To the extent permitted by law, you assume the risk of relying on general information that has not been assessed for your individual circumstances.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that content is complete or current.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to the paragraph headed “Liabilities we do not exclude” below:

  • we (including our officers, employees, and contractors) are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for any loss of profits, goodwill, data, or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service or reliance on its content; and
  • our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service and these Terms is limited to the total amount you have paid to us for services in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred Singapore dollars (S$100) if no amount has been paid.

Liabilities we do not exclude

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of obligations under applicable data-protection law (including the PDPA), or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of Singapore. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

11. Clinical services

Physiotherapy services, once arranged, are provided by registered physiotherapists who owe you a professional duty of care under the applicable regulatory framework (AHPC in Singapore). Nothing in these Terms limits that professional duty of care or any liability arising from it that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against reasonable losses, claims, and costs arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your submission of false, misleading, or unlawful information.

13. Privacy

We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy & PDPA Notice and our Cookie Notice, which form part of these Terms.

14. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when the updated Terms are posted with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Severability and waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force, and the unenforceable provision is modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.
